Fumi Nagai is originally from Japan. She moved to New York to pursue her dream to become a makeup artist.
Upon graduation, She started her career working full time for editorial and fashion photo shoots. She worked with celebrities, models and photographers, as well as corporate clients.
In 2006, she was offered the opportunity to work at one of the leading salon in NYC . She enjoyed the experience so much that it didn't take her long to make a permanent switch from the studio to the salon.
In addition to being a makeup artist, Fumi is also an expert eyebrow shaper. She says "The right make-up and brow shaping can have the same affect as a face lift, but the process is more natural!"
She is also a bridal makeup specialist and has excellent working relations with a number of Wedding coordinators who have recommended her services to some very high profile clients such as Saja Wedding.
Her exceptional talent lies in her ability to make over clients from different ethnic backgrounds with diverse features and complexions.
Her passion is to make each of her client's feel comfortable and look fabulous.
