PDD Client expectations / Guidelines
In an effort to maintain the safety of our team and guests, we are implementing new rigorous sanitizing measures, along with limited booking.
+ social distancing is to be maintained throughout the salon and you will be seated 6 ft away from other guests.
+ please note, we will no longer have a waiting area for clients. You may need to wait outside the salon until we are ready for your services.
+ upon arrival please call 212-274-0079 or text (firstname.lastname@example.org- iphone only) the salon to check in. A staff member will meet you at the front door when we are ready for you to enter.
+ we will be checking your temperature and a mask is required for entry.
+ hand sanitizer will be provided and must be used or hand washing will be required.
+ please arrive on time and come alone. If you arrive early, feel free to check if we are ready for you. If a stylist is running off-schedule, we will do our best to contact you in advance.
+ there will be no beverage (coffee, tea, soda, etc.) service. please bring your own.
+ we have removed magazines, phone chargers, and other non-essential items. Please come with your own book, magazine, and/or a charged phone.
+ refrain from unnecessary personal contact, such as handshaking, hugs, kiss etc.
+ we will not be providing robes for haircut appointments, we will be using a disposable cape.
+ please feel free to bring your own sanitizer, cape, protective gear etc. whatever you need to make yourself feel extra safe and comfortable.
+ please contact us if you are running late. If you arrive late to your appointment, we may not be able to provide some or all services as scheduled, Stylists will have less flexibility due to the limits on clients in the salon at one time.
+ for gratuity we suggest that you to install the Venmo app so you can pay each stylist and assistant electronically. Please bring the exact amount if you would like to tip in cash. We will not have change at this time.
+ please stay home if you are sick.
SALON / STAFF
+ we check the temperature of staff each day. Any staff who has a temperature above 100°F should be sent home immediately and not allowed to return to work until they have no fever and no evidence of COVID-19 symptoms.
+ all work area and tools will be disinfected after each client.
+ all stylists will be wearing face masks and protective face shields.
+ we will be disinfecting stations and chairs before and after every client. And all tools used on clients will be disinfected before and after services.
+ there will be dividing panel in between each shampoo bowls to protect guests while being shampooed.
+ staff is required to adhere to covid testing every 14 days.
+ our reception area will be outfitted with sneeze guards.
We must limit the number of people in the salon at any one time. On occasion, this may cause delays – the salon will do its best to keep everyone within an acceptable distance, while serving everyone as best as possible.
